Recipe for Ambon Bika Cake



Bika Ambon is a traditional cake and includes market snacks that have a very good taste, soft and chewy, this cake has a distinctive texture and flavor that is having fiber. Below is a recipe and how to make bika ambon cake:
 
Ingredients
  •     175 gr sugar
  •     100 gr of sago flour
  •     200 ml of thick coconut milk
  •     1 sheet of pandan leaves, boiled with 100 ml of water, let it cool
  •     2 soft orange leaves
  •     10 egg yolks
  •     2 egg whites
  •     Cooking oil for basting
  •     1/2 tsp instant yeast
  •     50 grams of flour
  •     50 ml of water


How to make
  •     Mix instant yeast, flour and water together, mix well. Let stand 15 minutes until it expands.
  •     Beat the eggs and white sugar until thickened. Add the sago flour and coconut milk alternately while stirring well.
  •     Add the batter mixture, stir until well blended. Cover the mixture with a napkin and let stand for 10 hours.
  •     Prepare the mold of Bika Ambon, which has been smeared with oil. Stir in the mixture, pour the mixture into the preheated mold until it sizzles. Bake with the oven lid slightly open. Lift.
  •     Bake again using the top flame until golden brown. Lift, let it cool slightly.
  •     Remove from the mold, serve it.
