CHOCOLATE CHERRY AMARETTO VALENTINES CUPCAKES
INGREDIENTS
AMARETTO COKELAT CUPCAKES

  • 1 Duncan Hines Devils, Food Cake Mix
  • 4 tbsp instant chocolate pudding mixture
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 1/3 cup of amaretto liquor
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter (slightly cold)



CONTENT
AMARETTO COKLAT BUTTERCREAM

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1/2 tbsp almond extract
  • 7 tbsp Hershey Cocoa Powder
  • 8 cups of powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons of liquor Amaretto
  • 4-6 tbsp of milk

TOPPING
24-30 Cherries

Make + ice 24 cupcakes.

how to make
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line two 12-cup muffin pans with cupcake liners and set aside.

Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, sift the cake mixture and pudding and set aside. In a stand mixer bowl (or large mixing bowl) use paddle attachments, beat eggs, sour cream, liquor, milk, and extract at low speed. Add the dry ingredients and shake until well blended. Beat in melted butter until mixed. After all ingredients are added, scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl and turn the mixer to medium-high and shake again for 15-20 seconds.

Step 3: Spoon 3 tablespoons of dough into each cupcake liner and bake on the middle oven rack, for 16-18 minutes, bake up to 24 cupcakes side by side at one time. (for best results, bake 1 pan cupcakes at a time) After the toothpick comes out clean, remove it from the oven and let the cupcakes rest in the pan for 2-4 minutes before removing and moving to the cooling rack. Prepare a skillet and repeat this step with the remaining mixture.

Step 4: When cupcakes are cold, prepare freezing. In a stand mixer bowl (or large mixing bowl) use paddle attachments, butter cream at medium speed until soft and smooth. Add shortening, extract, and shake until blended. Add powdered and cocoa sugar little by little between each addition. Add amaretto and then milk 1 tablespoon while hitting between additions to the desired consistency. Rotate the mixer to medium height and shake for 1-2 minutes.

Step 5: After the cupcakes are really cool, fill and fill the cupcakes with the contents of the cherry pie. Frozen cupcake with amaretto buttercream chocolate. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate until served.
